Since Moist Pumpkin Bread was a big hit, I thought it would be good idea to use the same recipe for making banana bread. This came out super moist and we had a difficult time waiting for it to cool because it smelled so good! We scoffed up half this bread before I got a chance to photograph it. This was wonderful topped with some Pumpkin Spiced Cream Cheese!

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mash bananas with fork..
  3. Combine mashed bananas, pumpkin puree, oil, eggs, and vanilla. Beat or mix until well blended..
  4. Combine flours, sugar, rolled oats, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and pumpkin pie spice. Stir together with a whisk until well mixed..
  5. Pour dry mixture into wet mixture and stir to combine all ingredients thoroughly. Add raisins and mix well..
  6. Grease a loaf pan (9x5 or 8 1/2x4 1/2) and pour batter into pan..
  7. Place in preheated oven and bake for 50-60 minutes. Poke center of loaf with toothpick or skewer to check for doneness. Toothpick should come out clean. Remove from oven and let cool..
