Ingredients of Chicken pasta and veggie bake

  1. It's 1/2 of Red capsicum diced.
  2. Prepare 1/2 medium of brown onion diced.
  3. You need 1/2 cup of Frozen corn kernels.
  4. It's 1 can of 420g condenced cream of chicken soup.
  5. You need 2 tbsp of Butter.
  6. It's 2 1/2 cup of Cooked spiral or penne pasta.
  7. You need 2 1/2 cup of Cooked chicken breast cubed.
  8. Prepare 3/4 cup of Water.
  9. It's 1/2 cup of Milk.
  10. Prepare 2 cup of Cheddar cheese grated then halved.
  11. You need 1/4 cup of Breadcrumbs.
  12. It's 1 of To taste salt and pepper.
  13. Prepare 1 of To taste ground paprika.

Stir in the chicken and pour over the sauce. Top with the cheddar, mozzarella and parsley. A wonderfully comforting chicken pasta bake, this can be made ahead and will go down really well with the family. This is a tasty, creamy pasta bake with many different flavours to savour.

Chicken pasta and veggie bake step by step

  1. Preheat oven 190 c.
  2. In lge pot over med to high heat,saute onion and capsicum in butter until soft,add frozen corn,cook for 1 min.
  3. Add soup,water and half the grated cheese,combine,add milk gradually while stirring.
  4. Cook over med heat until cheese has melted,stir in pasta and chicken,season to taste with salt and pepper.
  5. Transfer mixture into a greased casserole dish(approx 30x15cm). Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and paprika to taste.
  6. Bake in oven for approx 15 mins,remove and top with remaining cheese, bake for a further 5 mins or until cheese has melted..
  7. Let stand for 3-6 mins,serve.
