3 Bean Turkey Chili "veggie-free". My hubby came up with this recipe for my son who doesn't care for chunks of tomato, onions and bell peppers in chili. The result is pleasantly surprising and satisfying! Took me a while pin down the measurements, because "some people" just cook.

Ingredients of 3 Bean Turkey Chili "veggie-free"

  1. You need 1 1/2 lb of ground turkey.
  2. It's 1 tbsp of chili powder (divided).
  3. Prepare 1 tsp of ground cumin.
  4. Prepare 1 tsp of cayenne pepper.
  5. You need 1 tbsp of dried cilantro.
  6. It's 680 grams of Passata (Waitrose organic).
  7. It's 1 can of 15 oz dark red kidney beans, undrained.
  8. Prepare 1 can of 15 oz chili/pinto beans in chili sauce, undrained.
  9. Prepare 1 can of 15oz black beans, seasoned (Kirby), undrained.
  10. Prepare 1 envelope of chili seasoning (McCormick Slow Cookers Chili seasoning).
  11. It's 1 of Scotch Bonnet Pepper, finely diced (optional).

Remove and set aside, repeat with remaining veggies Place beans in food processor with garlic (crush or grate if desired). Great recipe for Easy Stuffed Pork Tenderloin. This is my Mammie-in-law's recipe, but she makes her stuffing from scratch, lol. You can use two tenderloins and make a "sandwich" for more servings.

  1. Brown turkey, sprinkle half of the chili powder and all of the cumin, cayenne and cilantro while cooking..
  2. Add to slow cooker..
  3. Add passata, beans, and remaining chili powder and packet chili seasoning, stir well..
  4. Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 5-6 hours. Stir occassionally if desired..
  5. Stir before serving, enjoy!!.

My family absolutely adores this dish and thankfully it is pretty easy to make! My father-in-law (George) was a great cook. Add chopped chipotles and sofrito mixture to chili mixture. Add the beans and diced tomatoes and stir to incorporate into chili. Toss a slew of veggies into a big pot of low-sodium vegetable or chicken broth, and wallah!
