Ingredients of Balsamic Steak Rolls

  13. You need 2 tbsp of finely chopped shallot.
  14. You need 1/4 cup of balsamic vinaigrette.
  15. Prepare 2 tbsp of brown sugar.
  16. You need 1/4 cup of Beef broth.

It's a fun appetizer or an easy summer dinner. Place the veggies (don't forget the green onion!) in the middle and roll the beef up over the filling, securing it with toothpick. Repeat the same with the other rolls. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Balsamic Steak Rolls step by step

  1. Cut steak into 3 inch wide strips and tenderize with meat hammer you should get about 8 strips.
  2. Season steak with salt pepper and worcestershire sauce and let them marinade for 1 hour.
  3. While the steak is marinating chop up the carrots, bell peppers, green onions and zucchini into matchstick size pieces and peel crush garlic.
  4. Melt the butter in a small saucepan add the finely chopped shallots and sauté it for 2 min add the balsamic vinaigrette brown sugar and beef stock and stir together.
  5. Allow sauce to come to a boil and reduce half it's volume. When the butter starts to separate turn off the heat and transfer to a bowl.
  6. In the same sauce pan add a touch of olive oil and toss in the garlic and let it flavor the oil for a few.
  7. Turn the heat up and add all the vegetables except green onions. Season with Italian herb seasoning and salt cook for about 2 mins then transfer to a bowl.
  8. Start to assemble steak Rolls take marinated stips and place veggies plus green onions and roll up and close with a toothpick.
  9. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat add some olive oil add season beef rolls with steak sesonin and add to the oil cooking to your liking on each side.
